I'm just not myself if I don't get enough sleep so getting up early isn't going to happen for me. So I work out after school when I am wide awake. My family has had to learn that supper will wait until I am done, and since it is only every other day, it seems to work okay for me. Good luck with finding something that works for you, too.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1088245333125244041.post-59445942341831932512008-08-30T14:34:00.000-07:002008-08-30T14:34:00.000-07:00I taught aerobics for 10 years to the ladies in th...I taught aerobics for 10 years to the ladies in the stake. Some of them were frustrated with not seeing changes in their bodies. One of them said, "I just need to keep coming because if I'm not exercising that's when I really notice the difference." So it really is a good thing you are doing. My recommendation would be to see if you can get away with shorter work outs, if you are needing a little extra sleep in the morning. good luck.susettehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16091922437671047257noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1088245333125244041.post-45057750658556257052008-08-28T21:19:00.000-07:002008-08-28T21:19:00.000-07:00Holy Crow it is funny when my alarm goes off every...Holy Crow it is funny when my alarm goes off every morning at 5:45 I also wonder is this really worth it. I don't see any results either. So having the same body as you do I say.... Yes it is worth it. It is not worth it if you are only looking for changes in your body because we are not guarenteed those. However you and I both know we are guarenteed a more secure mind and boosted energy. I have given up on changing my body. I have tried everything and it just likes to be where it is. So I cheer to my little belly and big legs and realize it is just who I am. And you know what most of the time I am happy with it because I know I can most likely swim a little better then the average joe out there and the only reason I can do that is because I wake up at 5:45 and fit it into my crazy schedule. Stick to it because I am and you wouldn't feel good about not doing it. You would go crazy and you know it. Kami and I have taken a week vacation off of our regular wake up at 5:45am workout schedule and it has been so nice. But we have both realized our body is missing its workout. You would also realize if you stopped the difference it really is making. I love you Kate and I feel for the pain we have to suffer to maintain what we have. Keep up the good work and just accept the fact you are running because you can and it does good for your mind. Not because you want changes. You are perfect the way you are. Just keep it up!!! That is my two cents on the whole working out thing. Just keep going no matter what the results are. It is good for your body and that is all that we are really trying to do is keep it healthy! (Do that for maybe 30 minutes.)Raehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05496860234400536830noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1088245333125244041.post-33298742536077993762008-08-28T13:41:00.000-07:002008-08-28T13:41:00.000-07:00I think that not only will you get better results ...I think that not only will you get better results but you will also have more time to sleep if you: a)shorten your workout to 40 minutes to 45 minutes and b)go a little faster or try to do the 45 minutes without walking at all. It's what Phill told me when I was doing a similar workout regimen and became so frustrated that I wasn't seeing results I wanted. Another thing you could try is a four-day break. Sometimes that's really what we need to kick-start our mental motivation. And your body might even need a break. Just don't give up!! It's not worth giving up--you won't have HALF the energy you do now, and you won't feel mentally up to all the stuff you're juggling!Raehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05496860234400536830noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1088245333125244041.post-19361893536696627902008-08-28T12:32:00.000-07:002008-08-28T12:32:00.000-07:00I'm probably not a great one to reply to this, as ...I'm probably not a great one to reply to this, as I don't get any regular exercise other than going for walks with my kids. It's not much of a workout.

I do know that when I'm eating junk food, and not exercising, and staying up late, that I don't feel great. But, I haven't gotten to the point that I change that stuff. I wouldn't mind some muscle tone, but I'm not looking to lose weight, so I think my only motivation would be energy (well, and overall health), but I just haven't seen the light yet.Andreahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18337786952098547265noreply@blogger.com
