Do you have any ideas?

This week, I am speaking at our YW Stake Leadership Meeting and I am supposed to speak about Good, Better, and Best. How do you speak about this without just wanting to use Dallin Oakes' talk on Good, Better and Best???

If any of you have any great ideas of an object lesson or a story that I could use or add to this talk, please comment and let me know. I always try to make my talks something that they can remember or that they will feel like they have been uplifted.

I could use some of your help if you have any ideas. It is always stressful to talk, especially when your week is already full with many other things, but hey we are having my Chocolate Mint Cookies that I have posted, so that will be great.

Why cant you pull from it??

Can you use examples of good better best weeknight activities, or leadership ideas?

OR OK.... howz bout this... maybe you could take your talk using a plane. HOW they are the stewardesses (stress what stewardship means.. helping the girls arrive to the destination) YOU could talk about HOW you "feed" them spiritually.. like peanuts, peanuts are good, I mean they are protien, but does it fill them or just tide them over? then talk about the next up service... then how to be a first class leader?? HOW we as leaders teach them about SAFETY. during turbulant times.HOW each leader will bring them closer to the Savior....

hummmm...anyway...

you could do the same things with SHOES... heels are pretty BUT how functional, same with some activities... fluff..BUT good, gets the girls there, but then what?. hiking boots, WHERE are you taking them? to whatever shoe...

I dunno, thats all I got at a moments notice! Good luck!

I can't think of an object lesson off the top of my head, but I'll think about it and let you know.

Bravo for you! You will do a wonderful job! It's such a great topic to be speaking on . . .

I saw a good better best object lesson with chocolate. Choose chocolate that you think represents the three catagories. Show them the good chocolate and everyone thinks its wonderful until you show them the better chocolate. Then once you've seen the best, it's obvious why that one is so important and the BEST.

Just a thought :) Anyways . . . best of luck to you!
