I am sorry it has taken me so long to post, but life here has been real crazy.
Since I arrived home on Thursday night, we have had a party here Friday night, I went to a party in St. George for a friend's daughter, came home and went to the YW General Broadcast of the Church of Latterday Saints, went back to school, took AJ to a missionary physical, went to an all day teacher conference and many other crazy things.
As I have been reading many of my friends blogs I have noticed that many of you are on diets like I am. It is HARD. One of the hardest things I have done this week is on Saturday night I went to set up for the YW General Broadcast. I had to help cut treats, and put them out on the tables. I had to bring a relish tray which wasn't too bad, but one of the other counselors brought mint chocolate brownies. They asked me to cut them. They smelt so so GOOD!!!
I really didn't know if I could do it and not try them. They were giving everyone a sample to try and I said "No Thanks". Do you know how hard that was?? I love chocolate and I love mint and I had never tried these before. I almost couldn't do it, but I succeeded.
Why can't it just be easy??? I was thinking today, probably because I am dieting...
What would be your last dinner if you had to choose a dinner to be your very last? I am going to have to think on that one for me, what would be yours???

I think a huge steak and nice, juicy potatoes. For sure.
I know creme brule would be on the menu...mmmm let's see, can I have only dessert for dinner?
Probably mint brownies after reading that!
Good for you, I admire your willpower.
Either something Mexican (probably enchiladas) or prime rib with a loaded baked potato and a salad with bleu cheese dressing and cheesecake for dessert. And it really would be my last supper if I ate all I included with the prome rib -- I'd explode :)
Nice job of resisting the temptations
I'm not sure about my dinner. But I did want to give you HUGE kudos for staying away from the brownies. I couldn't do it, or at least lately I've been doign exactly the opposite. Not only am I sayign yes, I'm going for seconds. Styaing out of brownies you are cutting up takes serious will power and control. You should be very proud of yourself, and it's given me the motivation to do better. So THANK you
How exciting you are getting the mission stuff going! Keep us posted. I have stuff to post about one of my missionaries. That will be coming later :(
I think a really good Rib Eye, big Fat Baked Potatoe and some delicious veggies...asparagus or something. Of course dessert would have to be part of it...but I'd have to think about my favorite there...
I have had a really hard time lately with the whole eating healthy/diet thing. If I could just get into a groove I'm sure I'd be fine...
I think I would've had just a smidgen. I eat better if I don't deny everything. It's all portion control.
So last meal....crab wontons, chicken madiera, and chocolate peanut buttter cookie dough cheesecake all from The Cheesecake Factory. That's my all time favorite meal.
You just made me think of something to post about.
AND I gave up sugar -um, seven years ago?- and it was really tough because it was definitely an addiction for me, but after awhile it gets a lot easier. Every time you turn something down you get a little stronger.
Still though, those chocolate mint girl scout cookies that Hubby repeatedly offers me, are tough to turn down so I totally hear you.
My last dinner would have to be a smoothered burrito with cheese from Lorena's. Mmmm..now I want one. :) To bad they are in Utah.
Pizza. Definitely pizza. Lots of it, too.
I have to say--even when I'm trying to stay trim or become trim, I do allow myself a dessert here and there--because if I don't now and then, I go overboard some other time!
My last meal....something with amazing cheeses.
wow, my last supper..... humm, well, I wouldnt be cooking it! So outback and whatever looked good! I understand on the busy part!
It would be a big cheesy pizza and an unlimited refill of Diet Coke!
