Most of us are

I love this quote that I have because even though I am GOING to become a teacher, most of us are teachers in one way or another to someone else.

In a completely rational society, the best

of us would be teachers and the rest of us

would have to settle for something less,

because passing civilization along from one

generation to the next ought to be the

highest honor and the highest responsibility

anyone could have

Love it! I seriously think that is one of the best quotes ever--and I am not even a school teacher. Way to go!

I would rather be considered a teacher than something less.

Words of great wisdom, to be sure. Of course, it all comes down to money. Teachers would need to have the highest pay. Yet students often have little money to pay for such education. I don't think student debt is the answer. Maybe the businesses who benefit financially by having a more intelligent work force should pay the education system via a tax or something.

What do I know. I am glad I am not in politics.

Truer words have never been spoken. I volunteer a lot at the elementary school and I'm constantly amazed at the talent and dedication that the teachers display. I'll be the first to admit that I'm not up to the challenge, and that I am humbled by those who are.

I love that! I will have to share that with my mom. She is a school teacher and would love that.
