I love my car!

As gas prices keep getting higher and higher, I feel so grateful for our two natural gas cars. We are getting more and more comments everywhere we go about them. We feel spoiled to have two cars that get gas for 63 cents a gallon. We don't even drive our Expedition any more because it is so expensive to drive compared to the little cars.
The down part about our natural gas cars is that they have small gas tanks that, when filled get us about 115 miles for each fill up. Each fill up in our Chevy Cavalier natural gas cars cost us between $3 and $4. Another negative part about these cars is the trunk size is cut down but for cars when you are not travelling they are wonderful.
If I was smart I would be putting the difference that I am saving away instead of just enjoying the savings but maybe someday I will be smart and decide to do this until then we are just enjoying our economical cars.

Hey Kathy,
We've been trying to find out how to get a CNG car ourselves. Where do you get them or find them? It would be great for running the kids to all their activities....

We see "natural gas" cars advertised here and there, and boy do we wish we had one.

Thankfully though, we share the one mini van, and my husband is involved in a car pool.

I wanted to say thank you for your sweet comment on my blog. It's always nice to have visitors, and your kind words meant a lot to me. I'll be checking back in!

That is awesome! Where can I get one? I have an suv and am seriously suffering! We are going on a long trip tomorrow and are not looking forward to the gas money bill at all. :-(

I'm glad you enjoyed my class website! It is a work in progress like most things. :-) If possible, could you do me a favor, though, and take the link down (just because it has the kids hometown on it and everything). Thank you!

That is fantastic. I sure wish our car had natural gas.

I am glad that I decided to go carless years ago. I have been riding my bike to the bus stop for over 5 years now. We are a one car family and I love it. We have saved a ton of money.

Ya I think of you everytime I take my suburban to the gas station for a $100 fillup not kidding it is over $100 sometimes. Of course I usually make it last me a month. But jealous of your little gas getters, I am!
