Finally!!!

It is always exciting when your kids get put in the newspaper. This week my son, Todd, was in the newspaper. He finally finished his Eagle Project. It has taken him over a year to start and complete it. He presented 15 backboards to the Cedar City Community Response Team. It is so hard the older that they get to actually finish their Eagle project. Now all he has left to do is to do some paper work and he will actually receive his Eagle.

You don't know how excited I am for this. It is so hard to try to keep encouraging without nagging your children. I am a big believer in scouting. I believe that it has helped my boys and my husband to be better men and has taught them many things that they need to know in life. The last few months I was wondering if this was ever going to happen, but IT DID!!!!

Todd is such a great kid. He actually still likes me even though he is a teen ager. I know he will go far in life.

Congratulations Todd!!! You are awesome!!!

Way to go Todd! That is a great achievement.

It will only be a few more years before I will be doing this with my boys. :)

That sounds like it was a worth-while project, and a lot of work! Good for him, and good for you for making sure he followed thru (sometimes that's the hardest part)

Congrats to Todd and to Kate!!! Moms never get enough credit!

More cookies will be coming your way soon...or would you rather goat's milk soap? What do you think?

Yay!!! I know how "hard" that last step can be--the paper work:) My son received his eagle last summer!

It feels great to get that under his belt--now get working on earning those palms!
