I'm thankful for...

I know this picture might be hard to see but I really like it. This was taken when my brothers, sisters, parents and Mike and I went on a cruise about 10 years ago or so. We had such a great time. I have three brothers and two sisters. They are great. I am excited to get to see them soon, at least part of them. I must say that my family is the greatest. If we are ever struggling or having trials we are there to support and help each other. We had an awful lot of fun as kids and when we get together we are big kids all over again. Some of my siblings don't remember much life without my husband, because for example my brother, Kyle was eight years old when we got married. I am so lucky that my family totally adores him and he is like a brother to them. I remember him taking them shopping, bowling, or just playing with them and harrassing them. I am thankful for my siblings influence on my kids and their love for them. My kids were spoiled for many years because noone else was married for a while, so they have had a lot of one on one time.

I am also thankful for my wonderful parents that have put up with all of us. My parents have been through a lot through the years but they are the best. They have taught us how to serve, love, care, work and be committed in all that we do. My mom is a true example of enduring life and making the most of every day. She has taught us so much by her life. My dad has taught how to love everyone and serve those around us and treat them how you would want to be treated. I am so thankful for their example to me and my kids.
There is a cross stitch saying in my entry way that my mother made that has a saying that describes our family.
Our family is a circle of strength and love.
With every birth and every union, the circle grows
Every crisis faced together
Makes the circle stronger

I am truly thankful for family.

Its funny that Mike did all that great stuff with your family. I do remember the one time he took me out to Mcdonalds. Dad made him and you could just tell he didn't want his sister taging along.
