I thought I would take a minute to add a few of the most special ornaments to me. These ornaments are placed on my tree every year because they are the most beautiful in my eyes. I remember when my kids came home from nursery and brought their new ornaments to add. We were all so excited and today I am still excited to add these special ornaments to my tree. They bring back great memories.
I couldn't find the one I have of Karrilyn. Hopefully it is in a box some where and I will find it.
This is my new prelit tree that we bought this year to put in our family room in our basement. It is always fun to buy a new tree and decorate it. I thought it turned out very pretty.
This tree we have upstairs for everyone to see. We bought it when we built our last house which was our dream house. I love it. It is so big and elegant and for a fake tree it looks pretty real. I remember when we bought it we purchased it on a great deal the day after Christmas. The Christmas tree sure makes a difference in the feeling at this time of the year in our home.

OHHHHH - the GUILT..........
I am an ornament snob. I think I got it from my mother. She always said, "Oh, how nice." And then she secretly disposed of our creations. I didn't want to do that to my kids, but I also hesitated to put some of their ornaments up. For the longest time, I put them on the side or back of the tree.
Growing up, we always got a new ornament every year. When each of us got married, my mom gave us our ornaments. And I've continued that tradition with my kids. We now have so many ornaments, I had to buy a tree for the upstairs family room. And to assuage my guilt, it's called the homemade tree. Everything homemade goes on that tree.
I feel so guilty when I hear about everyone who puts up their kids' masterpieces. I just can't quite bring myself to do it on our downstairs tree.
I know - I'm scarring my kids for life. I'm expecting coal in my stocking......
They are both very Beautiful trees.
Our house always looks great the pictures show that people might come and look at the decorations but they stay for the great spirit that we always have around Christmas and I must say we are that way because of you mom and dad
